International Jazz Impressions with Paul Clarkson

Paul presents and collates the music selection on the International Jazz Impressions show. He has long had an interest in radio and was heavily involved with student radio while at university and also as a Technical Operator at Power FM in the late 90s.

While certainly no expert on jazz, his interest in producing this show stems from a love for the music and an interest in the history and impression that jazz and associated music has had and continues to have. The show features a range of music, some firmly within the jazz lexicon and others aligned to, influenced by or crossing over with jazz. Expect to hear music from almost every decade, right up to the present day, and from across the world, encompassing many genres and sub-genres, alongside info about the music and artists, tours and festivals.

Listen to International Jazz Impressions on a Sunday evening from 10pm to 11pm. The show is produced twice a month, which means that each show is then repeated during the next Sunday, before a new show the following week. Each show is also available on the website to listen back to.
