One of the forerunners of the synth scene in the early 80’s Blancmange were never as big as some of their contemporaries but a retrospective look back on their catalogue highlights their great knack of writing those perfect pop songs.
From the upbeat “Living on the Ceiling” to the orchestral expanse of “Waves”, Neil Arthur certainly knew how to write a great song.
